Right at the center of the barge on the deck, BARNUM is equipped with a covered terrace where to relax and take the most of Lyon with the stream: there's nothing more enjoyable than taking a cocktail at the end of the day on the terrace while gazing at sunset on the wharfs and the Fourvière basilica !
Enthousiast photographers will also be able to benefit from the splendid view on the floodlit bridges of the river Rhône, with a perspective second to none. |

BARNUM is the only guest house on a barge offering premium services in Lyon downtown.
Our concept is to guarantee our guests they will benefit from a total change of scenery, a calm and quiet barge, relaxing in all dimensions of what comfort means: from the bed and the decoration chosen with care to the dimension of the flat screen TVs, we want to make your visit a totally exclusive and privileged moment.
The barge has been totally fit out to create a spirit of well-being and it results in an intimate relationship between the guest and the barge: with the smiling welcome of her owner, the cosy decor of the rooms and some mysterious navigation instruments, whatever the reasons why you stay onboard BARNUM one night or many, you will get the certainty that everything is implemented to make your stay an unforgettable moment.
There are some special events in Lyon that are not to be missed: every December 8th the whole city is enlightened and fireworks for the Fête Nationale on July 14th are worth being comfortably sat on the terrace with a drink to contemplate the magic. More simply, BARNUM is also the place to be for lovers on a week-end. Be sure we will make everything possible to insure you feel "at home" and relaxed. |
